Excavation & Grading

In order to lay asphalt driveways it is essential that all prep is completed carefully. We will analyze what is needed for your specific driveway, and customize our process accordingly. Base preparation is done through a mix of grading and excavation. If we are replacing an existing asphalt driveway, we first excavate to remove the old materials. If we are laying asphalt for the first time, we need to grade the driveway to remove holes and bumps. As part of preparing the base we add products like 3 inch minus rock and 5/8 crushed limestone to support and provide a hard foundation for your asphalt.

Parking Lot Additions

A growing business often needs a larger parking lot to accommodate their new customers or bigger fleet. We can expand onto your existing parking and create a smooth transition between the original and your additional lot. This process includes excavating a new space, planning for additional water drainage, and applying the appropriate asphalt mix so it will hold up for years to come.
